Collin County Bookkeeping is based in Collin County and serves the North Texas Region.
Andy Hardin is a life-long resident of Collin County having been born in McKinney. His mother is a McKinney and related to the founder of the city and county. Hardin Boulevard in McKinney was named in honor of his father.
After graduating from McKinney High School he went to TCU. In his freshman year he was drafted and entered the Army during the Vietnam War. After completing his service he went back to TCU and received his BBA with a focus on business administration and accounting. He then spent twenty years working with his father at A.M Scott Insurance Agency where he sold insurance and managed the back office functions of the million dollar business. When the agency was sold he spent the next ten years publishing Inside Collin County Business and McKinney Living. Both award winning publications allowed him to gain experience guiding small businesses to success.
Having always enjoyed accounting, he started doing bookkeeping and payroll in 1989 as a part-time business. Over the years the business grew and became Collin County Bookkeeping.
